Nature Dreamer

My random thoughts about nature and my life in it.

A few more birds…. May 28, 2013

Saturday we took a drive out to a federal wildlife sanctuary where I got to experience some wonderful birding variety….

While out enjoying some amazing clouds and beautiful views of green grass fields, I ran across a few birds I had not seen ( or heard) in a while. As an birder knows, there is something so magical about stumbling across a bird you have haven’t seen in a while and the thrill you get when seeing( or hearing it!). Here are a sampling of what I saw and heard…..

A different knowhow. Great poem to really have you think about nature and how we live our lives.

Natures path...

While on a walk recently, I thought about how we as mankind need paths or roads as an essential part of our lives. We are lost without them and they lead us to so many important places in our lives.

Standing among them...

This was a hike I took in the Oregon Coast Mt. range a couple of weekends ago. Each time I stand in in these old growth stands, I feel amazed to be able to share the same air and ground they have had for so many years. They truly are giants among the Earths creatures!

Everybody needs…

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
